Finmeccanica signs MoU with Composites Technology Research Malaysia (CTRM) 

Yesterday SELEX Galileo, and Composites Technology Research Malaysia (CTRM) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a technology collaboration on Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) capabilities.
 
This MoU is an extension of the strategic partnership between Finmeccanica and CTRM.
This presents an important opportunity in relation to the use of UAV capabilities for the upgrade of Homeland Security systems used in Malaysia.
 
SELEX Galileo is committed to working with Malaysian companies and leverages on its wide experience and know how in surveillance systems (More than 45 ATOS systems sold world-wide in the last ten years, advanced electro-optical turrets, E-scan and M-scan radars state-of-the art solutions).
 

Third day at the Paris Air Show 

Today at Le Bourget the Finmeccanica stand, Chalets, Static Area, and the "Space Alliance" Pavilion welcomed many delegations from UK: Lt Gen. Andrew Figgures Cbe, Deputy Chief Of Defence Staff, Air Commodore Chris Bushell, Typhoon IPT Leader Defence Equipment & Support, Vice Admiral Paul Lambert, Deputy Chief of Defence Staff.
 
From Italy, Finmeccanica was honoured to host. Riccardo Riccardi, Mobility, Energy and Infrastracture Activity of Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, Dott. Giuseppe Acierno, Chairman District of Aerospace, Gen. B. Edoardo Valente, Under Chief of State of Guardia di Finanza, Gen. D Paolo Poletti, Deputy Director of Agenzia Informazioni e Sicurezza Interna, Amm. Sq.
