CM107E The CM107E is a digital encryption device designed and developed by SELEX Communications to provide secure voice and secure data communications for naval and ground applications. To work in narrow band mode, the CM107E has an internal modem and a specific analogue interface, to connect the crypto equipment to an external radio. The CM107E can be connected also to an external modem when it has to support the narrow band black digital mode. When the CM107E is used in wide band mode, the internal modem is by-passed and encrypted digital data are presented over a specific digital interface. The CM107E contains two separate cipher logic units where a NATO and/or a National crypto algorithm can be present. It is also possible to use the CM107E for mobile installations.
CM2000IP CM2000IP is an encryption device designed and developed by SELEX Communications for the protection of data carried over an unprotected IP network. Interconnected CM2000IP devices from a "virtual private network" (VPN) able to protect the classified traffic, generated by "trusted" (or red) networks and conveyed over an "untrusted" (or black) IP network. The "trusted" network can be formed by either a single host or a sub-network or several sub-networks connected to the encryption device through a router. Each CM is the Default Gateway for all devices/hosts belonging to the relevant "trusted" network. The "untrusted" network can be either a private or public network (i.e. Internet). In order to guarantee the security of the exchanged data, CM2000IP uses IPSEC protocol in Tunneling mode to encapsulate IP packets. It is compliant with the IPv4 standard.
