This area of the exhibition shows a wide range of platforms and solutions to prevent, manage and respond to various types of emergency situation. Considerable space has been devoted to DRS products and technologies, which go well with those produced by SELEX Sistemi Integrati, SELEX Communications and Elsag Datamat.

Finmeccanica's offer ranges from highly reliable portable computers that can be used in extreme conditions through to target identification, continuous monitoring and integrated surveillance systems. It includes secure communication systems and SELEX Sistemi Integrati's Air Traffic Management (ATM) demonstrator, which allows for the complete control of ground movements at an airport. Finmeccanica's capabilities address a broad spectrum of scenarios and situations where
ensuring and maintaining security is the top priority.

ATM Demonstrator (TBD)
 
The ATM Demonstrator consists of an A-SMGCS (SAIL) and an Automatic Dependant Surveillance-Broadcast
(ADS-B) system. A-SMGCS allows complete control of ground movements on the airport area. ADS-B is a
high performance ground station for en-route, terminal and airport surveillance applications.
