This area of the exhibition shows a wide range of platforms and solutions to prevent, manage and respond to various types of emergency situation. Considerable space has been devoted to DRS products and technologies, which go well with those produced by SELEX Sistemi Integrati, SELEX Communications and Elsag Datamat.

Finmeccanica's offer ranges from highly reliable portable computers that can be used in extreme conditions through to target identification, continuous monitoring and integrated surveillance systems. It includes secure communication systems and SELEX Sistemi Integrati's Air Traffic Management (ATM) demonstrator, which allows for the complete control of ground movements at an airport. Finmeccanica's capabilities address a broad spectrum of scenarios and situations where
ensuring and maintaining security is the top priority.

Armor C12
 
ARMOR C12 Rugged Convertible Notebook with Intel Core Solo processing technology. Armor X10
 
The new ARMOR X10 Rugged Tablet with Intel Core Duo Mobile technology, durable and reliable table computer. Housed in our specially designed aluminum DuraCase chassis with ShutOut sealing technology, the ARMOR X10 Tablet meets IP 66 level protection while offering hot-swappable battery access without the need for tools. ARMOR X10 is qualified to MIL-STD-810F.

GS-410 Thermal
 
GS-410 and uncooled FLIR-more affordable than cooled FLIR solutions at about 75% of the performance. Also smaller and lighter than the competition. In production. Modular, fully digital, 2-axis stabilized. Day and night imaging with continuous 260 degree coverage.

Distant Sentry
 
The Distant Sentry Reconnaissance System is rugged, autonomous and provides long range target detection, classification and dissemination capability. Distant Sentry is well suited for border surveillance, infrastructure protection, and force protection. Distant Sentry combines reconnaissance systems into a rugged package that can be used in a fixed or mobile configuration.
